European Exhibition of Racing Pigeons

National Romanian Pigeon Fanciers Federation is much honored to have been nominated the host of the 5th Edition of the European Racing Pigeons Exhibition.
After the previous successful editions held in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic, we strongly believe that the 5th edition of this important event will also be a unique manifestation.
The exhibition will take place in the capital of Romania, Bucharest, at Romexpo (Hall C4+C5) the largest exhibition centre in Romania, from 28 - 31 January 2016.
About 15 European countries will exhibit their most valuable racing pigeons and the most beautiful standard pigeons, based on Olympic Selections and a new category - Record (total prize km in the racing career -first 3 pigeons with the most prize kilometers from each country).
The National Romanian Pigeon Fanciers Federation was founded in 1937 and it is affiliated to the FCI from 1967, taking part since then to every Olympiad and international events.
Nowadays it counts more than 8.000 members with structures in every province of Romania. Our federation organizes more than 700 races every season in which over 500,000 pigeons take part.
In April 2015, due to the quality of our organization, the National Romanian Pigeon Fanciers Federation received one of the highest distinctions in the country, namely the High Patronage of the Romanian Royal House and his Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania. This recognition makes us proud and sustains our efforts in bringing pigeon sport to the highest level.
The European Exhibition of Racing Pigeons will be a celebration of the racing pigeon, a splendid show with more than 500 pigeons, the best and the most beautiful of the European selections.
Alongside with these there will be exhibited the most valuable pigeons of Romania in the National Romanian Racing Pigeons Exhibition (73rd Edition), a collection displaying the best 500 Romanian pigeons in all categories.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the first European Exhibition of Racing Pigeons organized in Romania, to appreciate and admire together this wonder of nature: The Racing Pigeon.
